Discovering Worship in the Arts

The Children’s Worship Ministry at Bethany exists to glorify God by demonstrating to our young ones the riches of worshiping Jesus Christ through music and the arts (Psalm 47).

Children’s Choir

All children age 4* through 6th Grade are invited to join us for Children’s Choir!  (Children who are age 3 may attend if a caregiver attends with them.)  Our redesigned format introduces a holistic approach to music for the sake of worship and will include hymns, worship music, theory and vocal technique, and the arts as we gain a vision of the beauty, joy and glory of God.

Parents are always welcome and encouraged to come learn with their children.  We would love to have you worship with us each week!

*All children attending need to be age 4 and potty trained.

Joyful Noise Instrumental Ensemble

Joyful Noise is a new instrumental ensemble that gives kids and adults (with a wide variety of skill levels!) the opportunity to use their instruments together for the glory of God.

This ministry would be a great supplement to those already taking lessons or those who are receiving training on their instrument. It’s for the players who have been learning their instrument for at least one year (but maybe haven’t picked it up for some time), or even also those who play regularly and would enjoy coming alongside other musicians in a mentorship-like capacity.

Rehearsals for a 6-week season will take place at a new time: Wednesdays from 4:30 – 5:15pm, beginning October 4, 2017. For more information, contact Deb Peterson (

MusiCamp is a week-long evening event held each year in June for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade. MusiCamp is designed to help our kids grow in their understanding of worship through music. At the end of the week, the kids share a musical presentation with the church.
