The Truth is the Sr. High ministry at Bethany. We exist to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord to youth and parents, preparing both to worship Him forever (Eccl. 12:13-14).

The Truth is a place where students are welcomed and valued. We take time to fellowship, announce upcoming activities, share prayer requests, and study the Bible. Our Sunday school lessons cover short passages within a book of the Bible where we attempt to examine each verse within its proper context for the purpose of applying it to our lives.

Sr. High students 9th-12th grade meet in the Bethany youth room every Sunday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

The Gospel Institute – Systematic Theology 1
Jan 21 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

A new semester begins in January!  Class meets on Mondays from 6:00-9:00pm, beginning  January 14, 2019, at Bethany Baptist Church. It will be co-taught by Dr. Ritch Boerckel and Pastor Art Georges (Living Hope Community Church).

This course examines what the Bible teaches regarding four areas of doctrine:

  1.  The Bible—the Bible’s authority, inspiration, canonicity, inerrancy, and sufficiency.
  2. God—the personality of God, the attributes of God, and the decrees of God.
  3.  Man—the nature of man and the sinfulness of man.
  4.  Salvation—the atonement of Jesus and to conversion.

Students will learn the value of a systematic study of God’s Word to discern how to live, think, serve and worship God.  A Christ-like life is the main objective of all study of theology.
