God's word doesn't give us a set amount to give. Rather Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Give as God is leading you to give within a well defined budget with a cheerful heart.

We rely solely on the funds of generous believers giving joyfully out of what God has given them. All money given is used to run church ministries, operations, staff salaries, fund our GO Partners (see Global Outreach), and provide for the maintenance and upkeep of our building.

While giving should never be compulsory (see 2 Cor 9:6-8), it is a natural fruit of the overflow of a Christian's relationship with Jesus. However, if you can't spare money at this point in your life there are many other ways to give and be generous. Consider serving in the church, or giving in creative ways such as becoming a part of our care team.

Most of the time these designated funds are given a special form. If you use the special form your money is automatically added to that fund. There are times however, when you are given a text box so you can specifically tell us how you would like funds you've donated to be used.

It can be unique to your banking institutions. With that in mind here is a helpful article you can use to get started on the process.

Our year-end statements are mailed out in January each year for the previous year. If you did not receive yours please contact us directly so we can get that taken care of as soon as possible.

If you create a "myBethany" account there is a section on that website at the top that says "My Giving." Clicking this tab will pull up a page of your family's giving history. If you can't find it or need help creating an account please contact us so we can guide you through the process.
