Children’s Ministry
our goal
Partnering with Parents & Families to teach the Gospel of Jesus
The Children’s Ministry is our way to partner with the parents and families of our church community in order to teach and nurture our children in the gospel of Jesus Christ for their ultimate worship of Him. We do this on Sunday mornings through the Nursery, Sunday School, and Children’s Church ministries, on Wednesdays evenings during the school year at Awana, and every June at Vacation Bible School.
Serve in Children's Ministry
We are always looking for volunteers willing to step in and help disciple children for God's glory. If you are feeling the call to work with children of all ages let us know! We would love to talk to you about what it looks like to serve in children's ministry.
Sunday Ministries
Nursery
0-2yrs old
9 & 10:30am Services
The nursery meets the needs of the youngest in our church family. Our time with these little ones allows parents and caregivers to worship the Lord without distraction.
Sunday School
3yrs - 5th grade
9am Service
Children’s Sunday School supports parents and families as they bring children up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Sunday School classes are available for children aged 3 years through 5th grade. Our volunteer staff of teachers and leaders are background checked and committed to nurturing the spiritual needs and well-being of each child in their class.
Children's Church
3yrs - 2nd grade
10:30am Service
This ministry serves as an alternative time of worship for younger children (3 years old through 2nd Grade), and meets in the children’s wing during the 10:30am Worship Service. Our 3rd-5th graders are participating in the worship service in the sanctuary with their families during this service.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is our Annual Summer kids' program. It runs through an entire week (Monday-Friday). Students learn about the Bible and God's love for them and connects the kids with awesome leaders. It's an incredible way to kick off the summer, have some fun, and teach kids about God.
Awana
Ages: K - 5th GradeAwana is our Wednesday night program for kids age 5 through 5th grade. It's designed to embed Scripture in the hearts of clubbers and teach them about our Savior, Jesus!

Special Needs
Our Special Needs ministry exists to glorify God by demonstrating a heart for families with special needs. If your family has an individual with special needs we would love to partner with you in providing support. Please contact the church office so we can find ways to help your whole family connect, worship, and participate in the many opportunities here at Bethany.
