The Mission of Engage
ENGAGE helps churches mentor youth to proclaim and defend the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Who Can Participate
Any Middle School or High School student (6th - 12th grade) who:
- Submits a completed application and pays the registration fee by January 31, 2024
- Regularly attends a local church that agrees with our "What We Believe" doctrinal statement
- Prepares for ENGAGE under the oversight of a pastor or church leader
- Reads the assigned reading
What Engage Looks Like
Students may participate in one of two areas: Biblical Apologetics (6th - 12th grade) or Male / Female Bible Teaching (9th - 12th grade). For Biblical Apologetics, students must choose between one of two categories of Biblical Apologetics: written or oral presentation.
Deadlines for Written Submissions
Students who participate in either the oral presentation or the Bible teaching will be evaluated on the basis of BOTH their written submissions and their in-person presentations. Therefore, every student who is participating in ENGAGE must email their written submissions to Michelle Doty no later than February 21, 2024. Power Point presentations are encouraged but optional, and must be emailed to Michelle no later than March 6, 2024.
