Sunday Worship
Weekly Schedule
There is an opportunity to be baptized at our upcoming Good Friday service. If you are interested in participating, email info@bethanycentral.org or call the church office. Connect with us to begin the process or to talk with someone from our ministry staff team with any questions or concerns you may have.
We are challenging ourselves, as a church, to hear 2,000 new stories this year. To help you do that, we have 3 different resources to share with you. A 12-week evangelism coaching tip resource, a podcast, and a special online class you can take from Spread Truth Ministries. Go bethanycentral.org/knowtheirstory to sign up for the coaching, take the class, or listen to the podcast.
Our teams—such as Children’s Ministry, Worship & Production, Care, Welcome, and the Prayer Team—are always looking for new volunteers to jump in and join. Visit bethanycentral.org/serve to learn more. You can run sound, serve coffee, teach children, help those with special needs, and so much more. Use your gifts and serve the body of Christ.

Join us for an inspiring Evangelism Seminar with Don and Jodi Green, where you’ll gain practical tools and encouragement to share the gospel with those around you. This session will focus on relational evangelism, helping you take the next step in reaching friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Enjoy coffee and light refreshments as we learn together and grow in our mission to Know Their Story.
Learn to manage your finances with wisdom, purpose, and for God’s glory. The class begins Sunday, March 9, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 813 and runs through April. All are welcome—gain practical tools and biblical principles to help you steward your resources well.
If you would like to use the church building for personal or private use, please arrange it in advance by calling the office during our normal business hours. With many events happening throughout the week, space is only available if reserved in advance. Thank you for helping us keep our church safe and organized!
The first Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm you can take part in a special time of prayer. The group will meet in the sanctuary. Email Josh Moon JMoon-Elder@bethanycentral.org, for more information and any questions.
If you are in the Sanctuary when there is a Tornado: Stay in the Sanctuary. Get down on the floor between the seats and keep your head down.
Fire: Proceed to the nearest emergency exit (indicated in the circles on the map linked in the button). There are six ways to exit the Sanctuary: The four main exits at the back then proceed out the front or side doors of the building; the two emergency exits located on each end of the stage.
In both situations it is important that you remain calm and proceed as instructed. To help prevent confusion, please do not go retrieve your children. The nursery and children’s workers are trained and will make sure they are safe.
Icebreaker: What is your favorite memory from a wedding you have attended? It could be yours or someone else’s.
Discussion 1: The paralytic came for healing, yet Jesus gave him forgiveness of sins instead. Why did Jesus do that? What does this show us about Jesus’s mission on earth?
Application 1: How does Jesus model that our souls are more important than our physical bodies? Why does He prioritize forgiveness and spiritual cleansing over physical healing?
Discussion 2: Jesus calls Levi, a tax collector, to be one of His disciples, and later dines with “sinners.” What was Jesus communicating with His actions? Why didn’t the religious leaders like it? (Look at 1 Corinthians 1:26-31)
Application 2: How can we learn from Jesus’s example and accept outsiders? How can we treat everyone as equal before God no matter their background or sin? How might this change how you love and view others?
Discussion 3: When the Pharisees accused Jesus and His disciples of breaking the Sabbath (Mark 2:23-27), Jesus responded, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” How had the Pharisees twisted what God meant the Sabbath to be? How did this legalism around the Sabbath lead the Pharisees farther from God rather than closer to Him?
Application 3: How can you practically embrace rest and spiritual renewal in your weekly rhythm? How can you make sure your time of spiritual connection with God stays free from a legalistic mindset?
