Sunday Worship
Weekly Schedule
Our Annual meeting is a time to hear ministry updates and, if you are a member, take part in the vote for the annual budget and elected officers. This year we’ve scheduled our services to allow more attendees and members to join this important meeting.
We will have a single service at 9:30 am (no Sunday School, ABC’s, or Children’s Church). Nursery will be offered for both. With the annual meeting following that service at 11:00am and lunch provided.
Friday April 18th, 6:00 pm join us for a special event meant to help us reflect on the sacrificial death of our Savior Friday night. The evening will include baptisms and communion (NO nursey or childcare provided).
Sunday April 20th, 9:00 & 10:30 am join us for Easter Sunday at Bethany. There will be no ABC’s, Sunday School, or Children’s Church this week. Nursery will be provided for ages 2 and under.
VBS is about 10 weeks away. We want to let you know you can start registering your children as well as let us know if you can volunteer to jump in to help us make VBS happen this year. Don’t forget to mark your calendar! Visit bethanycentral.org/vbs for more info.

Join our student ministry team for a free workshop for students and parents on biblical manhood and womanhood. In a time of cultural confusion, we’ll explore God’s design with practical sessions for both parents and students. The event includes breakfast, teaching, fellowship, lunch, and free resources for each family. Childcare is available for 5th grade and under—please RSVP so we can plan ahead for food and childcare.
The Hands of Grace food pantry collection has started and continues to run for several weeks. View the items they are in need of by downloading a list. The donation table is located in the foyer by the gym and volunteers will be there to pass out bags. You can donate things like (canned meat, stews, soups, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, and more).
Do you long to experience the power of prayer in your daily life? In this six-week study, we’ll explore the Lord’s Prayer and other biblical examples to uncover key principles for a deeper, more effective prayer life. Come grow in your understanding of how prayer draws us closer to the heart of God. Ladies of all ages are welcome!
The first Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm you can take part in a special time of prayer. The group will meet in the sanctuary. Email Josh Moon JMoon-Elder@bethanycentral.org, for more information and any questions.
It is our desire to be praying for you no matter what is happening in your life. Go to bethanycentral.org/prayer or use the Bethany app to fill out a prayer request or share a praise so that our leaders, staff, prayer team, and church family can be in prayer for you personally.
Icebreaker: What is something from creation that you find inspiring or breathtaking? (ex: the Grand Canyon)
Discussion 1: Why do you think the disciples were so afraid in the midst of the storm, even though Jesus was with them? What does their reaction reveal about their understanding of Jesus at this point? How could Jesus sleep in the midst of such a fierce storm?
Application 1: Our lives are also filled with storms — situations that are too big for us to handle that fill us with fear. What does it look like to have faith in Jesus in the midst of these types of storms?
Discussion 2: After calming the storm, Jesus asked the disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” What kind of faith do you think Jesus was calling them to? Are you surprised that Jesus asked them the question?
Application 2: Do you sense Jesus calling you to a deeper faith, just as He called the disciples? Are there times when your faith is weak and you are afraid in the midst of storms?
Discussion 3: The disciples were amazed and asked, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” How does this moment deepen their understanding of who Jesus is? How do you think this event shaped their relationship with Him in the future?
Application 3: What comfort and faith can you also gain from reflecting on Jesus’s power and authority over nature?
