Sunday Worship
Weekly Schedule
This year our Easter Devotional, He is Risen, was written by our very own Bethany Church staff. Beginning April 12th, this devotional explores the 10 days leading up to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.
Each day’s reflection includes Scripture, prayer, application questions, and a journal. You can pick up a book at the table in the foyer or visit bethanycentral.org/heisrisen to download a digital copy.
Friday April 18th, 6:00 pm join us for a special event meant to help us reflect on the sacrificial death of our Savior. The evening will include baptisms and communion (NO nursey or childcare provided).
Sunday April 20th, 9:00 & 10:30 am join us for Easter Sunday at Bethany. There will be no ABC’s, Sunday School, or Children’s Church this week. Nursery will be provided for ages 2 and under.
Anyone new to Bethany is invited to join us for lunch. Meet elders & pastors, ask questions, and get to know us. If you are new to Bethany this is the perfect first step for you! Go to bethanycentral.org/lunch to register.

Jeremy Kluth from Scripture Alive will present a powerful dramatic Scripture recitation during our Good Friday service, portraying key moments from the final hours of Jesus’ life—including the Last Supper, Jesus’ arrest, trial, crucifixion, and death. Join us for this moving and reflective service.
Join our student ministry team for a free workshop for students and parents on biblical manhood and womanhood. In a time of cultural confusion, we’ll explore God’s design with practical sessions for both parents and students. The event includes breakfast, teaching, fellowship, lunch, and free resources for each family. Childcare is available for 5th grade and under—please RSVP so we can plan ahead for food and childcare.
The Hands of Grace food pantry collection has started and continues to run for several weeks. View the items they are in need of by downloading a list. The donation table is located in the foyer by the gym and volunteers will be there to pass out bags. This is the final Sunday for donations or you can drop them off at the food bank through April 11th.
Do you long to experience the power of prayer in your daily life? In this six-week study, we’ll explore the Lord’s Prayer and other biblical examples to uncover key principles for a deeper, more effective prayer life. Come grow in your understanding of how prayer draws us closer to the heart of God. Ladies of all ages are welcome!
Access an extensive library of faith-based videos for kids, youth, and adults, available on any device. It’s easy and free to join. Visit bethanycentral.org/rightnowmedia and click “Request an invitation.” We’ll send you an email invitation to set up your account so you can take advantage of this great resource.
Icebreaker: What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time? How has that changed over time?
Discussion 1: When Jesus confronts the unclean spirit, the demons immediately recognize His authority and beg Him not to torment them. What does this encounter reveal about Jesus’s power over the spiritual realm? Why do you think the demons were so afraid of Jesus?
Application 1: Just as Jesus has power over nature (see last week), He has power over the spiritual realm. He has authority over the challenges and struggles in your life. How can you trust Jesus’s power and authority when you feel overwhelmed?
Discussion 2: After witnessing the healing of the demon-possessed man and the destruction of the pigs, the people begged Jesus to leave their region. Why do you think they responded with fear and rejection rather than gratitude or faith?
Application 2: The people of the region responded to Jesus with fear and asked Him to leave. Have you ever struggled with fear when Jesus was calling you to something challenging or outside of your comfort zone? What are some ways you can choose faith over fear in those moments?
Discussion 3: The healed man wanted to follow Jesus, but Jesus told him to stay and share what had happened with his own people. What does this tell us about the mission Jesus had for this man? How might his testimony have impacted those around him?
Application 3: The healed man wanted to immediately be with Jesus but instead Jesus sent him out to share with others. How can you share your personal testimony of how Jesus has worked in your life with others this week?
