Icebreaker:
What is something that you had to wait a long time to see come to pass?
Discussion Questions:
What can the often violent affairs of man and government teach us about ourselves and about God?
What should Elisha’s response to the coming judgment of God’s people teach us?
What other examples from Scripture show God’s ability to ensure His outcomes even through evil people following their desires?
Application Questions:
What judgments and suffering in your life and in the world might you grieve over in a healthy way?
What evil going on in your life and in the world do you need to trust God to use for good?
