New Creations ABC Starting a New Series

The New Creations ABC is starting a new lesson series entitled “Introduction to Biblical Doctrine: Know What You Believe”. The intent of the series is to answer questions about biblical doctrine and discuss what we believe at Bethany. The series also aims to better equip us all to explain and discuss our faith and biblical beliefs to unbelievers. New Creations meets in Room 816 at 9:00 AM.

Discussion Questions

Icebreaker Question

If you could make a rule that everyone had to follow for a day, what would it be?

Discussion Questions

What stands out to you about the description of God in verses 9-10?

This vision spans over one thousand years of history, from the Babylonian Empire around 600 BC to the fall of the Roman Empire in 476 AD. What does the breadth of this prophecy show you about God?

How does the heavenly being’s explanation help us understand Daniel’s vision?

Application Questions

How does this vision shape the way you see the world’s rulers? Does it shape the way you see upcoming elections?

Look at verses 26-27 alongside Psalm 46. What hope do these verses give us when the world feels out of control?
