Baptism Opportunity
Sunday, July 21, 6:00 pm

There is an opportunity to be baptized at our upcoming Summer Celebration service. If you are interested in participating, email info@bethanycentral.org or call the church office. Connect with us to begin the process or to talk with someone from our ministry staff team with any questions or concerns you may have.

Join a GO Partner Advocacy Team

An Advocacy Team is a small group of people committed to caring for our sent partners in specific ways. Sent partners are those commissioned and sent out by Bethany either globally or locally. These teams meet once a month to pray for and care for their sent partner. If you are interested you can go to bethanycentral.org/GOadvocacy to learn more.

GO Partner Shannon H. Visiting
Sunday, June 30

Our sent partner Shannon H. will be visiting us next week. She will give a short update in both services and will be free to connect after both services on Sunday. Shannon will be sharing about her next steps on her ministry journey.

Breakfast for College Ministry

Did you know we have a college and young adult ABC that meets each Sunday? Volunteers supply breakfast for this group each week. If you would like to serve in this way, email abby@bethanycentral.org to be added to the signup.

RightNow Media

Access an extensive library of faith-based videos for kids, youth, and adults, available on any device. It’s easy and free to join. Visit bethanycentral.org/rightnowmedia and click “Request an invitation.” We’ll send you an email invitation to set up your account so you can take advantage of this great resource.

Knowing Christ Radio

Our radio ministry featuring the teaching of Pastor Ritch airs each Sunday at 11am on WBNH 88.5FM. Or go to knowingchrist.org to hear each broadcast.

We Want to Pray for You!

It is our desire to be praying for you no matter what is happening in your life. Go to bethanycentral.org/prayer or use the Bethany app to fill out a prayer request or share a praise so that our leaders, staff, prayer team, and church family can be in prayer for you personally.

Discussion Questions

Icebreaker Question

If you were invincible (could not die or be hurt) what would you do and why?

Discussion Questions

What was the foundation of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s confidence that defiance was the right move in this situation? What would your emotions be?

Why do you think God allowed Nebuchadnezzar to survive when he came close to the fiery furnace, but the guards who threw the prisoners into the furnace died?

Do you think Nebuchadnezzar took his statue down after he decreed that no one could speak against God?

Application Questions

What can we learn from these three God-followers about dealing with proud leadership?

Have you ever had a situation where you have had to go against the majority in order to do the right thing? Or a situation where you should’ve but you didn’t?

How can we help our kids be more like these three servants of God?
