Announcements
Thank you to Michelle Doty for her four years of faithful service as our Student Ministries Coordinator. Michelle will be moving to Florida, and her last day at Bethany will be March 19. We are grateful for the ways she has served our students and families and pray God’s blessing on this next chapter.
We are excited to introduce Ashley Easley as our new Student Ministries Coordinator, beginning March 23. Her passion and gifting will be a wonderful addition to our church community. Please join us in warmly welcoming Ashley as she begins this new role with us—we look forward to the many ways God will work through her in the life of our student ministry.
Bethany will again partner with the Peoria Area Anti-Hunger Coalition to sponsor the 2026 Foodshare Canathon. Canathon bags will be distributed on Sunday, March 15. Please fill the bags with non-perishable and canned food items and return them to the drop boxes in the foyer by March 29.
Suggested items include canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats (tuna, salmon, chicken, beef), soups, chili, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, boxed dinner mixes, and personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, or body wash. All donations will go to Hands of Grace, a ministry of Grace Baptist Church and a sister church of Bethany.
Join us for a special edition of The Table hosted by Bekah V. as she introduces Novruz, a Western Asian holiday that marks the beginning of spring and the Persian New Year. This unique gathering will take place in her home in Pekin and is a great opportunity to learn about another culture and continue the global focus from the GO Conference. Space is limited, so be sure to register today on MyBethany.
Join us in the Gym to learn more about the Welcome Team departments and receive important updates from our new Safety Team. This lunch is for both current team members and anyone interested in joining the Welcome Team. Please RSVP to graciekelch14@gmail.com so we can plan accordingly.
For those who live in Peoria Public Schools District 150, a voter guide for the upcoming March 17 school board election will be available this Sunday. You can download the guide online or pick up a printed copy in the foyer.
