There is an opportunity to be baptized at our upcoming Good Friday service. If you are interested in participating, email info@bethanycentral.org or call the church office. Connect with us to begin the process or to talk with someone from our ministry staff team with any questions or concerns you may have.
We are challenging ourselves as a church to hear 2,000 new stories this year and to help you do that we have 3 different resources to share with you. A weekly coaching tip series over 12 weeks, delivered by text or email, a podcast, and a special online class you can take from Spread Truth ministries. Go bethanycentral.org/knowtheirstory to sign up for the coaching, take the class, or listen to the podcast.
Our Annual meeting is a time to hear ministry updates and, if you are a member, take part in the vote for the annual budget and elected officers. This year we’ve scheduled our services to allow more attendees and members to join this important meeting.
We will have a single service at 9:30 am (no Sunday School, ABC’s, or Children’s Church). With the annual meeting following that service at 11:00am and a light lunch provided.

How much do you know about the coming Millennial Kingdom on Earth? You may be surprised by what the Bible reveals about this incredible event! Join The Master’s Touch ABC for an engaging study and discussion as we explore what to expect during these 1,000 years, when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, reigns from His throne in Jerusalem. Everyone is welcome to join them.
Icebreaker: If you could bring healing or relief to one physical problem, disease, or sickness in the world, what would it be and why?
Discussion 1: In Mark 3:1-5, Jesus challenges the Pharisees by asking, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” Why do you think the Pharisees remained silent, and how does Jesus’s response reveal His priorities?
Application 1: In the face of legalistic rules and expectations Jesus chose to show love and care even when He knew it would lead to a clash with the Pharisees and His ultimate death. Do you struggle to show radical love and care for others? Do the expectations and “unwritten rules” of others stop you from acting when the Spirit prompts you to move?
Discussion 2: Why do you think Jesus’s actions and teachings provoked a strong, murderous reaction from the religious leaders? What does this reveal about the state of their hearts and spiritual lives?
Application 2: In what ways is your heart similar to the Pharisees’? How can we be drawn away from a real relationship with God because of rules or expectations? Is it possible for those following “religion” rather than a relationship with God to actually be farther from Him?
Discussion 3: Again Jesus heals the sick and casts out demons from the large crowd gathering around Him. Why does He forbid the unclean spirits to speak or reveal who He is? What does this show us about Jesus’s purpose, identity, and plan?
Application 3: Many people in the crowds around Jesus came only for healing and physical miracles (see John 6:26). Are there areas where you might only be seeking physical blessings from God rather than spiritual ones? Are you praying only for physical help and ignoring the spiritual help only Jesus can provide?
