What did Moses say would happen to Israel if they listened to God and obeyed His law?

Moses told the people of Israel that if they listened to God and followed His rules, they would be blessed! God would take care of them and they would have a good life in the land He promised them.

What did God tell Israel to not forget? What choice did Israel have?

God told Israel to never forget His law and the special things He had done for them—like rescuing them from Egypt. They had a choice: they could trust God and follow His ways, which would bring blessings, or they could go their own way and face troubles.

Would Israel keep God’s Law? What would happen to them when they don’t?

Sadly, Israel would not listen to God and would forget His law. Because of this, they would face hard times and even be sent away from their land. But God still had a plan to bring them back!

What will God do later after Israel is in exile? What will this mean for the world?

Even after Israel was scattered, God promised that He would bring them back. This would show the whole world that God keeps His promises and is always faithful, even when His people are not.

What does Jesus do that the nation of Israel never could?

Unlike Israel, Jesus perfectly obeyed God’s law. He never sinned! Because of this, anyone who believes in Jesus is treated as if they had obeyed perfectly too. Through Jesus, we can have eternal life with God!
