Sunday Worship
Weekly Schedule
Our monthly compassion offering collection is after our services this week. This isn’t part of our regular tithes—this is something special we do to express Christ’s love by meeting needs within our church, our community, and around the world. The compassion fund is overseen by our elders and benevolence team. You can contribute by visiting bethanycentral.org/compassion or by giving to the Compassion Fund after the service—look for ushers holding special offering baskets as you exit.
At Bethany we love to use name badges to help people get to know us and make guests feel welcome. Please be sure to wear your nametag next week! If you’ve never had one or need a replacement, please visit or contact the church office to have one made for you in preparation for nametag Sunday.
Our Annual Meeting is a time to hear ministry updates and, if you are a member, participate in voting on the annual budget and elected officers. We’ve scheduled the morning to allow more people to attend and take part in this important meeting.
We will have a single service at 9:30 AM (no Sunday School, ABC’s, or Children’s Church). Nursery will be available during both the service and the Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting will follow the service at 11:00 AM, with lunch provided.
Announcements
We are excited to be voting new members into Bethany in two weeks. Watch next week’s bulletin for details on whom you can be encouraging and welcoming into our church family.
If you have a moment this week please check the lost and found to collect any items that may be yours. In just a few weeks we will be donating or clearing out any items that are left. Thank you!
A huge thank you to our generous Bethany family for donating an incredible 2,520 pounds of food during the Foodshare Canathon! These donations will bless the Hands of Grace Food Pantry at Grace Baptist Church—one of the ministries Bethany is honored to support.
BEST (Boomers Engaged in Serving and Sharing Together) is hosting a lunch in the High School Room. Eric Ham will be with us to share helpful information about funeral planning. Use myBethany to RSVP or call the church office.
Join us for a Ladies Craft Night filled with creativity and conversation! We’ll be working with beautiful pressed flowers to create unique keepsakes—either mounting them on wooden plaques or using Mod Podge to decorate glass candle holders. No experience is needed—just come and enjoy a relaxing evening of crafting and connection!
Soccer meets outside on the Bethany soccer fields from May-September and inside the Bethany gym from October-April. If you have any questions, contact Mandy Hobbs: aswright@mail.bradley.edu.
It is our desire to be praying for you no matter what is happening in your life. Go to bethanycentral.org/prayer or use the Bethany app to fill out a prayer request or share a praise so that our leaders, staff, prayer team, and church family can be in prayer for you personally.
