Sunday Worship
Weekly Schedule
Our annual GO Conference is just a few weeks away! It will be an incredible time to hear the work that God is doing around the world through our GO Partners. We have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sessions as well as childcare for each of them (0-7 yrs). Go to bethanycentral.org/go to register or get more information.
The class will meet in the Gathering Room in the adult wing. Learn more about Bethany and start your journey to becoming a member of our community. Sign up at bethanycentral.org/membership.

H.E.A.R.T. is a ministry at Bethany that provides support to women and couples who are grieving the loss of a baby. Join them for a work night to tie ribbons on “Safe in the Arms of Jesus” ornaments, fill Keepsake bags with items, and put items in stillbirth boxes. These resources will be given out through all OSF hospitals, doctor offices, and pregnancy centers throughout our area.
Our friends at Grace Baptist have asked for our help! Would you be willing to donate clean and undamaged coats? The coat drive will start next week and run through November 8th. Hands of Grace will begin distributing the donations to the community at the pantry day on November 11. Please be looking for donation locations in the foyer and near the wing entrances!
Icebreaker:
Have you been in a conversation where no one knew what they were talking about? How did you respond?
Discussion Questions:
Do you think Elihu’s rebuke of Job is fair? Would God approve? Why or why not?
Does Elihu more accurately present truth about God than Job’s 3 friends? If so, how?
Do you think it was a surprise to Elihu that God answers Job in the following chapters? What does this show about God’s character?
Application Questions:
What’s your posture toward spiritual instruction and spiritual examples from people younger in age than you?
When have you made similar claims about God that Job did and what does it reveal about yourself? (See Job 33:9-11, 34:5-6, 35:2-3 for reference)
