What a day! We kicked things off this morning well-rested, fueled by some great NYC coffee, and gathered together for worship. Pastor Isaac led us in the Word, focusing on Psalm 150 — “Praise the Lord!” — reminding us to give God glory in all things. We also heard from missionary Josh Hepner, who powerfully reminded us that if just one person comes to Christ this week, it’s all worth it.

After our morning session, we connected with our cord leader, grabbed our materials, and headed right outside our hotel to set up a prayer station on a busy downtown street — just blocks from the Local and Federal Courthouses. It didn’t take long for opportunities to open up. Many people welcomed prayer as they passed by, and several meaningful gospel conversations took place.

One powerful interaction was with a man named Fabien. He’s experienced deep trauma — including an attempted suicide, the murder of his brother, and tragically, the death of his firstborn at the hands of his wife. His worldview is understandably dark, but he was open to prayer and even downloaded the “Story App,” committing to watch it. Please join us in praying that Fabien would encounter the love and hope of Jesus in a life-changing way.

One of the highlights today was seeing our younger team members step up in boldness — pre-teens and teens passing out prayer cards and even praying over adults. It was such a powerful, moving sight. Church, we wish you could have seen it firsthand!

After we wrapped up for the day around 4:30 p.m., the team split into smaller groups to explore the city. Some attended the Brooklyn Tabernacle Prayer Meeting, others visited the 9/11 Museum, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, or took the Staten Island Ferry for a stunning view of Lady Liberty.

Today was a full, rich day — and we’re thankful for all God is doing.
Please keep praying for us! Tomorrow, we’ll be setting up another Prayer Station — this time at Madison Square.

Let’s keep shining His light!
