We started our morning like we have every day this week—with worship. It’s been such a grounding rhythm for our team: singing together, hearing a message from the Word, and starting the day focused on Christ.

After worship, our cord met to go over the plan for the day and receive assignments for serving at 9 Million Reasons, a food distribution ministry in Queens. This organization provides food, prayer, and the hope of Christ to over 500 families every single day.

Our team jumped in, helping organize the warehouse and prepare for a large food shipment arriving tomorrow. We also got to help distribute food directly to guests coming through the line. One of the most encouraging parts of the day was serving alongside volunteers who once received food from this ministry. Now, they joyfully give their time to help others in the same situation they were once in. It was humbling and deeply meaningful for our group to witness and be part of that.

After serving, we made the long subway trip back to Brooklyn for SpreadTruth’s closing ceremony. They shared some incredible highlights from the week:
👉 Over 3,000 gospel-centered conversations
👉 More than 2,500 prayers offered
👉 And 116 people made decisions to follow Jesus!

Praise God! What an amazing picture of how He is at work in New York City!

To celebrate, our entire cord went out to dinner for one final evening of fellowship and reflection. There were lots of laughs, shared memories, and gratitude for how the Lord has moved.

It’s hard to believe the week is already coming to an end. We’ve had a powerful time Following Jesus Together and truly getting to Know Their Stories. We’re already talking about coming back next year!

Tomorrow (Saturday), we’ll be leaving our hotel at 5:30 AM to head to LaGuardia for our flight.
