Today we went to the church services. We sent a group early at 7:30 to pray over the service at Reformation Bible Church (Newton’s church). The rest of the team headed out at 8:00 to both churches (RBC and Grace Bible Church).

Daniel spoke during the ‘teaching’ portion of the services while Jimmy preached at RBC. Reviews said it was short and good. At both churches, we had some team members help out in Sunday school classes. RBC team members socialized amongst the church members and ate together. After lunch, Daniel and Jimmy held a Sunday school team workshop while everyone else divided to hand out flyers. We know one man came to know Christ talking to Newton at this time.

Meanwhile, GBC team members attended service, ate food, and went to see the land where they are constructing a new building. While at the land, they played some games with about 60 children.

Then, everyone was bussed back to Newton’s house. Dinner was the best meal we have had so far. We held another team devotional meeting and enjoyed socializing together tonight.

We do request that you pray for the VBS starting tomorrow. We have come to realize we have a larger language barrier than we first thought. We also request you pray for continued safe travels and that we are a blessing to the missionaries down here. Praise the Lord!
