What an exciting start to our mission trip!

We kicked things off at the church at 8:30 AM, where Pastor Jimmy sent us off with prayer and encouragement — a powerful way to begin this journey!

Our drive to Chicago was rainy and adventurous, and though the storm caused a 90-minute flight delay, our team stayed positive and full of anticipation.

We finally soared into the skies and had a smooth flight into LaGuardia — with a bit of a bumpy landing to remind us we’re officially in New York! Touchdown was at 9:05 PM ET.

There was a slight hiccup with our shuttle being late, but that didn’t stop us! We turned the wait into sweet fellowship time, enjoying the warm 77° evening and good company.

By 11:05 PM, we arrived at our hotel — tired but thankful. Everyone was more than ready for a cozy bed and some much-needed rest. God has already been with us, and we can’t wait to see what He has in store next!
