Today marked our first full day of evangelism here in New York City, and what a day it was!

We kicked off the morning with worship and training, getting our hearts and minds ready for the work ahead. Afterward, our team leader handed out materials, and we headed to Union Park to begin sharing the hope of the Gospel.

We split into two groups: one team stood at the Story Wall, inviting people to write down their story and helping them see how their story fits into God’s greater story. The other team engaged people in Worldview Surveys, sparking deeper conversations about life, faith, and truth.

By God’s grace, many in our group had meaningful—and in some cases, extended—gospel conversations with people from all walks of life. We talked with New Yorkers of every background, and it was powerful to see how open and willing many were to engage. Our team left the park encouraged and more confident than when we began.

After wrapping up our ministry for the day, many of us took some time to explore the city. We toured Little Italy, walked through the heart of Chinatown, and even hopped on the Staten Island Ferry to catch a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty. It was a fun and refreshing way to experience more of the city we’re here to serve.

Tomorrow, we’ll be serving at a Prayer Station near our hotel in Brooklyn. Please pray that we’ll listen with compassion, pray with boldness, and clearly share the story of the Gospel—Creation, The Fall, The Rescue, and Restoration.

We’re grateful for your prayers and support. God is moving!
