This year, we’re embarking on an incredible journey — to hear 2,000 new stories in our community. Everyone has a story, and as a church, we believe that truly listening, engaging, and caring for others is a key step in sharing God’s love. That’s why we’re launching the “Know Their Story” campaign, and we want you to be part of it!

There are many ways to get involved, and we encourage you to prayerfully consider joining one of our outreach-focused action teams. Each team offers a unique opportunity to connect with others and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Ways to Get Involved

⚽ Soccer Ministry – Build relationships through sports! Join us Tuesday evenings at 6:15 PM on our fields (or in the gym if it’s raining).

📖 Good News Club – Bring the hope of the gospel to children by serving at Ridgeview Elementary School on Monday afternoons at 2:40 PM.

🛒 Hands of Grace Pantry – Help meet both physical and spiritual needs by serving on the second Saturday of every month from 8:45–11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church.

🙏 Prodigal Prayer Ministry – If you have an adult child struggling in their faith — or if you have a heart to pray for those who do — join us for Prodigal Prayer every Wednesday night from 6:15–7:15 PM in the conference room.

Each of these ministries creates opportunities for meaningful conversations—whether with neighbors who don’t know Jesus, children in need of the gospel, or even your own kids. By listening, serving, and praying, you can be part of hearing their stories and helping them take a step closer to Christ.

Other Ways to Engage

If none of these teams fit your schedule, passions, or gifts, here are more ways to Know Their Story:

👩‍👧 MOMents (Moms of Preschoolers) – Connect with moms, many of whom are unchurched or unbelieving, and build friendships that can open the door for deeper conversations.

🎯 AWANA – Disciple children and introduce them to Jesus—especially those who have yet to hear or respond to the gospel.

🎓 College Ministry – With ICC and Bradley University nearby, there’s a unique opportunity to share the love of Christ with students searching for purpose and community.

In each of these ministries, you’ll find opportunities to truly Know Their Story. Listening is a powerful way to reflect the love of Jesus, and sometimes the easiest first step is simply showing up.

We are excited to see what God will do as we take time to engage with the people around us. Together, let’s be intentional in hearing and sharing stories that ultimately point to God’s redemption through Christ.
