This week is promotion Sunday! We are looking forward to welcoming children to their new fall grade levels. Your child will meet in their new rooms with their Sunday School and Children’s Church classes.

Our Children’s Ministry team is looking for volunteers to help serve in Sunday School, Children’s Church, nursery, and to help on our “buddy teams.” This is a great way to serve the church family, and to invest in advancing the Gospel for our children. An Advocacy Team is a small group of people committed to caring for our sent partners in specific ways. Sent partners are those commissioned and sent out by Bethany either globally or locally. These teams meet once a month to pray for and care for their sent partner. If you are interested you can go to bethanycentral.org/GOadvocacy to learn more.

Our GO Partners John and Esther Waldrop are here visiting this week. You can chat with them at their table in the foyer, hear them share in the Joint Heirs Adult Bible Class(during the first service), or talk to them before and after services. They will soon be moving to Manila, Philippines where John will be teaching at seminaries in that area.
